By car or taxi
You may come to Damouhari from Volos by car choosing between two routes both inside the wild nature with approximately the same distance (around 50km).
The first is by the sea, more distant, but smoother with fewer turns, while the second is mountainous, shorter but more challenging because of more turns. Regarding the first, you cross the city of Volos by the beach heading east to Agria and South Pelion. After Kala Nera you turn left to Milies and after Milies, you turn again left towards Tsagarada. When you pass Tsagarada and reach the beginning of the next village, which is Mouresi, you turn right & then to every junction you keep turning right towards the sea (south), until you reach the end of the road at the parking, which is just above Damouhari. From there our guesthouses are a minute’s walk down, towards the sea.
Regarding the second, you follow direction to North Pelion and Portaria avoiding Volos (see above in the paragraph entitled “To Magnesia and Volos”). From the ring road you turn left to North Pelion and the village of Portaria. After reaching Portaria, you continue to Hania and turn right to the ski center and then left to the village called Kissos. Once you are out of the village, you head right towards the next village, Mouresi. From there, after the petrol station you turn left and south and to all the upcoming croasroads you keep turning right until you reach the end of the road at the parking, which is just above Damouhari. From there our guesthouses are a minute’s walk down, towards the sea.
From Volos or somewhere else you may also take a taxi directly to Damouhari. The cost of oneway is around €60 from the airport of N. Aghialos to Damouhari and upon request we can arrange it for you. info
