Damouchari's
gulf is the only natural port on Eastern Pelion and for that
reason it has been characterised by a continous commercial movement.
Through this port, all mountain villages were being provided
by various products and goods. There are, still, buildings that
used to be big stores. Today, although it is not characterised
by the same activity, it is considered as the most picturesque
cove in the region. |
