Kissos

It gazes from on high to the Aegean, rested in green. According to the historian G. Kordatos, the name of the village originates from a corruption of the word "chrissos" (that means "gold").

The church of  Agia Marina in Kissos is the most important basilika of Pelion with a woodcut screen and frescoes by Pagonis (a known painter).
