The
wild and isolated beach of Fakisra, characteristic for its pebbles,
is Eastern Pelion's ornament. There you can feel a happy castaway.
In the northern part of Fakistra there are two historical caves.
The sea cave of Panagia Megalomata, which is full of stalactites,
and a few meters further up, the cave which during the turkish
occupation was operated as a secret school. |
