The
small church of St. Nicolas, constructed in 1747, is another
sign of Damouchari's intense past. Its interior is being decorated
by a marvelous hand-made wooden temple and unique wallpaintings,
made by Pagonis (a known painter) and other talented, but unfortunately
unknown, artists and monks. |
